The ASPIRE Pitot Static System Test Unit is a general-purpose trouble-shooting tester for small General Aviation Aircraft.  The BASIS utilizes a high-speed two stage pump
    powered by a
12 Volt 3 Amp-hour Sealed Lead Acid battery.  1/4" Push-To-Connect fittings are utilized with this Tester, which is compatible with our Pitot-Static Adapter Kits also available on eBay.  The unit comes with a smart charger (110/220VAC) to keep it fully charged.  When the LED indicator turns from red to green the battery is fully charged.
    The main instrument contains a large 2.6" high resolution 320 x 240

LCD digital display with block numbers that are easy to read.  No 1980's style 1/4" digital digital display
    numeric's
that will give you a headache while you are trying to read it as you are changing airspeed or altitude.
Nice visual for VSI to Point & Show direction and intensity of climb or descent.
Our unit also incorporates transducer sensor technology which is somewhat immune to the failures and costly repairs of their analog instrument counterparts. The Digital Display precisely indicates the altitude and
    air-speeds
needed to test Aircraft Altimeters, Airspeed Indicators, Pitot-Static Systems, Air Data Computers, and other vacuum and low-pressure devices and indicators.
This tester can generate pressure and vacuum in excess of the requirements needed to simulate altitudes and
    air-speeds
    of GA aircraft.
We have sold our Pitot & Static Test Adapters worldwide, so we have made our BASIS model adaptable in its display of Pressure (inches Hg or mb); Altitude (Meters or Feet); Airspeed (Kts, Mph or Km/h)  and Vertical Speed (Fpm or M/s).  The choices are easily accessed through push Button selections made on the front panel of the indicator itself.

While the Airborne Electronics Pitot Static System Test Model (ASPIRE) meets the requirements for compliance with FAR 91.411 as of date of manufacture, it is important that the owner of this equipment use it in such a fashion to be in compliance with the regulations. Calibrated units/settings to be used for such checks  are in-Hg, Feet & Kts.  User skills must be developed to properly adjust valves to maintain desired readings on aircraft instruments in accordance with the regulations.  Failure to properly adjust valves may cause damage to the aircraft's instruments and or air data equipment in the aircraft.
Nationally Accredited Calibration Certificates:  Our new products are supplied with factory calibration certificates with measurements traceable back to international standards.
